Known for his simple & relatable story-telling, this super mario sounding, donald duck looking endearing performer has charmed audiences all over the country. Asu, emerged as the champion of the “Time To Shine Like A Star” comedy battle at The Joke Factory in mid 2022. Later that year, he also bagged three awards for Short+Sweet Malaysia 2022: Stand-Up Comedy category for Best Overall Production (Champion), Best Newcomer Audience Choice Award at the 15th anniversary of Short+Sweet Malaysia which was held at Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre. Asu was one of the pioneers to perform on ASTRO's VINMEEN channel for one the very first Tamil stand-up comedy show in Malaysia call "Sirikatingge Please".
